Kim Loudermilk
SEL Teacher
“It’s chaos, be kind.” – Michelle McNamara
For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to enriching the lives of children through various roles and educational pursuits. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree from the esteemed UNR Applied Behavior Analysis Program, my journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. My experience in the Early Childhood Autism Program provided me with invaluable insights into human behavior, particularly through 1:1 interventions with preschoolers on the autism spectrum.
During my graduate studies, I had the privilege of contributing to the Washoe County Social Services Emergency Shelter Center for Children, where I honed my skills in staff and parent training, as well as crafting functional behavior plans for young individuals entering the facility. Prior to joining Triad School, I experienced firsthand the transformative impact of its supportive environment when my own child found solace and success within its walls.
For the past seven years, I’ve been privileged to serve as the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) teacher and academic testing examiner at Triad. In this capacity, my mission has been to equip students with the tools they need to navigate their social landscape with empathy, perspective, and self-awareness. It’s been an honor to witness their growth and development, and I look forward to continuing to empower students to reach their fullest potential.
Warm regards,
Kimberly Loudermilk, M.S.
