“Look at life with the eyes of a child” – Henri Matisse

I’ve called northern Nevada home since 1996, drawn to its beauty and natural surroundings. My artistic journey began in high school, inspired by a teacher who saw potential in me that I hadn’t yet recognized. This belief set me on a path that led to Sierra Nevada College, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in ceramics and 2-dimensional design.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to a gallery space, leading art workshops in the community, and running after-school classes at the Brewery Arts Center. Currently, I teach private summer creativity camps and homeschool art classes for kids in my backyard studio. For me, art is more than just the final product; it’s a therapeutic process that fosters both creation and healing, a truth that resonates deeply with me.

As a mom to two kids, two cow dogs, and eight chickens, I find joy in gardening, estate sales, music, and embracing the great outdoors. My goal is to guide others on their own journeys toward healing and growth through art. I look forward to continuing this journey, drawing from my past experiences, and eagerly anticipating the connections and discoveries that lie ahead.
